Salary range:
Total Negotiated Salary (TNS) calculation depending on specialty can range from $271,849-$337,566. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. This position includes membership in the health science compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

Position description

The University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Division of Basic and Clinical Immunology is seeking a dynamic and skilled clinician with strong credentials in the field of Allergy and Immunology for the position of Health Sciences Clinical Professor in the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor ranks.

Requirements include an M.D. or M.D. /Ph.D. degree(s); board certification or eligibility in the field of Allergy and Immunology; and a valid California Medical License. A record of clinical research and publications are preferred. Candidates with Pediatric or Internal Medicine background and experience in clinical immunology, a proven track record of excellence in teaching and patient care are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate is expected to deliver patient care in an academic setting, teach medical students, residents, and fellows, and engage in independent clinical research. Rank and salary will be commensurate with training, qualifications, and experience.
