Digital Marketing Manager

The Digital Marketing Manager is pivotal in driving the company's revenue growth by supporting strategic marketing initiatives aimed at attracting and retaining clients. This role requires a tactical approach to designing and implementing effective multi-channel marketing campaigns to generate leads, grow revenue pipeline and enhance brand visibility.

This role reports directly to the EVP of Marketing and must be proactive, innovative and constantly seeking to improve existing strategies as a results-driven thinker with a commitment to achieving business objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities



  • Ideate, build and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns across various channels such as email, events, webinars, paid media, partnership marketing, newsletters, social media and more to meet business objectives.
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics and make recommendations for optimization to help generate leads, nurture prospects and support audience-specific conversion funnels.
  • Build a content strategy that supports demand generation and is tailored to key buyer personas across different stages of the customer journey.
  • Research, write, produce and optimize content in all formats as needed for digital marketing & communication efforts.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Gregory & Appel's lines of business to ensure all content (e.g., case studies, whitepapers, blogs, videos) aligns with target audiences and serves the demand generation strategy.
  • Collaborate effectively across multiple internal teams to achieve campaign goals.
  • Establish a deep understanding of G&A's business objectives and customer segmentation information.
  • Continuously evaluate and execute creative digital strategies to grow audience engagement and convert leads into revenue opportunities. Use data-centric insights to continually refine content for improving KPIs and audience engagement.
  • Manage data entry, campaign tracking and reporting in CRM (Salesforce) and marketing automation platform (HubSpot).
  • Measure, track and report at a campaign and tactical level, providing analysis, insights and recommendations for future campaigns and adjustments to existing campaigns as appropriate.
  • Continually evaluate marketing technology stack to ensure effective resources are available.
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams to help support marketing programs across different company verticals and messaging for consistent brand experience.
  • Own KPIs that are meaningful, measurable and meet quarterly demand generation goals for growth and marketing attribution for cross-sell and pipeline contribution.
  • Keep ahead of industry trends, market insights and competitive strategies to inform demand generation plans.
  • Help organize and promote events or webinars as part of the demand generation strategy.
  • Engage in pre-event, live and post-event activities to attract leads.
  • Assist with other marketing projects and activities as needed.
  • Gregory & Appel employees work on a hybrid work schedule, typically working in the office 3 days per week.

Experience and Skills

Key Skills and Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a demand generation or digital marketing role with a proven track record of driving growth.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills with an ability to craft compelling messages for different audiences and the ability to see the big picture of our marketing strategy.
  • Ability to analyze and comprehend data trends and forecasting + digital performance metrics, with specific experience in Salesforce dashboards and reporting, and HubSpot.
  • Proficient understanding of paid channels (PPC, social, display), including their role in funnel stages and contributions to KPIs.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate new ideas and approaches to demand generation.
  • Extensive experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.), as well as knowledge of Wordpress, SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, and social media marketing.
  • A team-player mentality with a collaborative spirit to work with multiple teams across the organization, yet able to work autonomously.
  • Extraordinary ability to project manage individual tasks and priorities, using team planning tool (Monday.com) to manage content and campaign planning.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategies.
