Job Description:

Candidate should be experienced and highly skilled Associate Technical Fellow Engineer to lead advanced technical projects and provide expert-level guidance in the field of High reliability Semiconductor product and Research and development with strong emphasis on Radiation Device Engineering and Power Electronic for Aerospace and Defense Applications. The Associate Technical Fellow will serve as a subject matter expert, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to strategic initiatives to drive innovation, product integrity, and engineering excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a technical authority in High Reliability Semiconductor Engineering
  • Lead cross-functional teams on complex engineering projects or R&D initiatives.
  • Provide technical oversight, guidance, and mentorship to engineering teams.
  • Develop and implement innovative technologies, methods, or processes.
  • Review and approve critical design documents, analyses, and test plans.
  • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and performance.
  • Contribute to technology roadmaps, proposal development, and long-term strategy.
  • Publish technical papers, present findings at conferences, and participate in technical communities.
  • Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Important that there is 'hands on' approach in relation to R&D etc..

Requirements/Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field; Ph.D. preferred.
  • Typically 10+ years of progressive engineering experience.
  • Recognized technical expertise in Semiconductor Device Engineering
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence engineering decisions across projects and teams.
  • Experience with tools, methodologies, and regulatory standards relevant to the discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a Technical Fellow or senior engineering role.
  • Proven track record of innovation (e.g., patents, publications).
  • Experience in systems integration, lifecycle management, or product certification.
  • Familiarity with [industry-specific tools or platforms].

Work Environment:

  • Office and lab-based work with occasional travel.
  • May require participation in field tests or prototype evaluations.
