Krispy Kreme's Regional Operations Coach Manager will play a vital role in driving operational excellence and supporting the development of our field teams. You are a key member of a passionate team focused on coaching, training, and implementing systems that elevate performance. Through collaboration, clear communication, and strategic problem-solving, you help build the capabilities needed to achieve meaningful results.

Embodying Krispy Kreme's Leadership Mix, you'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with team members, especially District Managers and Directors of Operations, to reinforce our operational standards and training programs. Your influence will be instrumental in nurturing talent, supporting growth, and ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across our shops.

Your weekly schedule will balance preparation, in-store coaching, and reporting insights from the field. Ultimately, your work will help shape the success of our teams and contribute to the continued growth of the Krispy Kreme brand, aligned with our purpose, strategy, and aspirations.

A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Lead Regional Implementation, Training and Coaching:

  • Primarily teach, train, and coach DM & DO new and existing systems as well as training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities to achieve operational excellence. Particularly focused on building sustainable capability of the leaders.
  • Assess leaders to determine implementation style (beginner, learner, master)
  • Support the creation & implementation of future DFD expansion customers.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate effectively with various departments to support the successful rollout of company initiatives.

Special Job Functions:

  • Successfully complete all special job functions assigned according to business needs.

Training Certifications and Support:

  • Implement company initiatives & new programs in partnership with regional leadership team.
  • Conduct Training & Seed Shop Certifications and maintain effective operations at all Training Shops.
  • Ensure salaried management trainee candidates follow the company training programs. Provide training data from various LMS systems.

Compliance and Support:

  • Manage and support ServSafe & PCIQ certifications or local health department equivalent for all management employees.

Product & Non-Product Rollouts and Development Courses:

  • Provide regionally assigned shops support in New Product
  • Rollouts and Event Days.
  • Partner to effectively facilitate leadership development programs.

Administrative Functions:

  • Manage and organize time to effectively handle all administrative functions and requirements of the position including ensuring training-related expenses and invoices are accurate, accounted for, and under established budgets.

Continuous Improvement and Projects:

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of training materials and processes.
  • Be a subject matter expert in Learning + Development projects, and support implementation of new training programs.

Facilitation and Assessment:

  • Facilitate various training sessions, including Train the Trainer for Certified Trainers, MIT, and DM training sessions.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify appropriate training solutions for building new skills and capabilities.

New Shop Opening (NSO) Planning

  • Coordinate and plan NSOs with key stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution and operational success.
  • Support New Shop Openings (NSOs) through training delivery and readiness tracking.

Metrics & Performance Management

  • Ensure 100% rollout of new training programs within specified timelines.
  • Track and report on training effectiveness, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:

  • Minimum of 6 years of business experience in training, multi-unit operations, or leadership roles.
  • Proven ability to develop, lead, coach, and implement programs.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50%) with occasional weekend and overnight stays.
  • Passion for learning, development, and driving operational excellence.
  • Lifting up to as much as 40 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time in shops and be on the floor helping the teams
