Primary Purpose of the Position
Teach and facilitate the application of nursing research theories, principles, and the research process.

Minimum Experience/Education

  • Master of Science in Nursing. Under special circumstances, consideration may be given to persons with a baccalaureate degree with preparation in teaching and learning principles in adult education as defined by the Board of Nursing (such as Clinical Teaching in Associate certification, and/or in the process of completing the certification).
  • A minimum of two (calendar) years' full-time employment or equivalent in clinical nursing practice as a registered nurse verified with the Board of Nursing.
  • Work experience and/or teaching experience in Nursing Research.
  • Current unrestricted RN license to practice in the state of North Carolina.
