Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop advanced readiness data models using the Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Officer's (CDAO) Advanced Analytics (Advana) platform.
  • Extract and integrate data from disparate sources to provide a clear and accurate assessment of force availability and mission readiness.
  • Utilize statistical, mathematical, and computational techniques to analyze large datasets and derive actionable insights.
  • Develop data products for inclusion in the Strategic Readiness Assessments (SRA), Semi-Annual Readiness Reporting (SRRC), and Cumulative Impact Analysis and Risk Mitigation (CISR) that are comprehensive and reflect the readiness factors impacting DoD.
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate analytical findings and recommendations.
  • Ensure all analytical work is thoroughly documented and adheres to established standards and protocols.
  • Conduct research, analytical, and computational analyses to support the development of military training and education policies and programs


Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in operations research, mathematics, statistics or similar field with 6 or more years of experience or Master's Degree with 2 or more years of experience.
  • Experience developing and implementing complex analytical models and simulations.
  • Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages such as Python.
  • Experience in advanced analytics and dashboarding tools such as Tableau and Virtualitics.
  • Experience in working with large datasets and performing data cleaning, transformation and visualization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • US Citizenship and possess an active US Government Secret Clearance with ability to maintain the security clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience working in a DoD environment.
  • Experience with DoD readiness policies
  • Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical, problem-solving, and client service skills
  • Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS) Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), Military Operations Research Society (MORS) or equivalent certification
