Summary:

In this role, you will support strategic growth through a newly signed channel partner who is currently transitioning to Provista. This role will act as the bridge between Provista/Vizient and targeted members, including senior living communities, surgery centers, and imaging centers. The ideal candidate will be skilled in consultative selling, navigating complex customer needs, and delivering tailored value through our GPO offering across foodservice, MedSurg, and capital equipment. This is a high-impact role with a clear runway for future growth as the channel partner expands.

Responsibilities:

  • Channel Partner Management: Serve as the primary liaison for a strategic channel partner, leading onboarding, training, and ongoing support. Act as their funnel into Provista and Vizient, aligning internal resources, facilitating access to tools, and driving joint go-to-market strategy.
  • Partner Enablement: Ensure the channel partner is fully equipped to represent Provista/Vizient by delivering education, resources, and messaging that aligns with each member segment. Coach them on how to position our solutions effectively and manage key milestones during their ramp-up.
  • Interim Member Engagement (Short-Term): Until the partner is fully transitioned, act as the point of contact for members to maintain continuity. This includes delivering insights (e.g., food comparisons, MedSurg, or capital equipment reviews) and selling based on pre-prepared analysis provided by internal teams.
  • Opportunity Development: Identify and prioritize member opportunities based on strategic fit, readiness, and alignment with Provista/Vizient value offerings. Collaborate with the partner and internal teams to progress deals through the funnel.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across internal departments, including contracting, sourcing, analytics, and legal, to remove friction, ensure partner alignment, and streamline member onboarding and support.
  • Reporting & Insights: Track and communicate key partner and member metrics, capturing engagement, conversion progress, and overall program health. Provide regular updates to leadership and channel stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience in healthcare sales, GPO, distribution, or channel partner roles is required.
  • Strong understanding of at least one of the following categories: foodservice, medical-surgical, capital equipment.
  • Proven ability to build trust and rapport with clinical and operational stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with a flexible, "do-what-it-takes" mindset.
  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
