This Position reports to:

Quality Manager
Your role and responsibilities

The person in this position is responsible for performing daily quality checks, performing inspections and testing products. This person will aid and support manufacturing by training production personnel on quality criteria. They will monitor process controls and scrap accumulation. The person in this position will be responsible for maintaining the Quality System Procedures and Policies to include Document Control.

The work model for the role is on-site.

This role is contributing to the ELIP ABB in Portland, TN.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Executing the assigned tasks according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance.
  • Performing regular quality testing of the equipment, if needed, as part of a defined production process and troubleshooting and reporting issues, if any.
  • Ensuring the availability of required materials to execute the assigned work according to the defined workflow.
  • Taking responsibility for the proper operation and daily maintenance of equipment in use and addressing any malfunctions to maintain production schedules.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two year's experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of one year hands-on experience in quality control
  • Knowledge of injection molding is preferred
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Must have adequate interpersonal communication skills (verbal & written)
