Position Summary: At the direction of the Quality Manager, the Quality Inspector (QI) performs inspection tasks relating to in-process inspection, final inspection, and receiving inspection in an aerospace company that does repair and new manufacturing work for commercial and military customers. Will complete inspection of products such as machined parts, mechanical assemblies, processed parts, and purchased hardware, and will perform verifications of part identification and configurations. The QI will identify and segregate non-conforming product using knowledge and understanding of Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing (GD&T) methods and common inspection measuring equipment, including but not limited to, surface plates, micrometers, height gages, radius gages, protractors, profilometers, bore gauges, and dial indicators as necessary. The QI in this role will also provide support for lab functions that include Destructive Testing of material. The QI is a versatile team member willing to pitch in and train in other areas of the Quality Department and back up other Quality employees as needed. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
