Description:

The successful candidate will work on exciting digital transformation projects that serve the needs of the Operations and Maintenance staff. Specifically, the candidate will deep-dive into understanding the people, processes, and technologies required to successfully operate the railroad. Key qualities include, but are not limited to, effective and reactive demand management, being a reliable and skilled team member, expertise on emerging technologies with an ability to deliver proof of concepts, and a proactive investigator on market products and best practices. The following key principles would guide the candidate's work model:



  • Establish a digital and innovative way of working for the Services O&M Product Line
  • Improve IT cost variability and efficiency
  • Reduce Cybersecurity Risk


Additionally, the candidate will:



  • Read software contract language and ensure compliance with corporate IT and cyber security processes.
  • Meet with vendors to understand technical requirements
  • Document requirements from the Services Operations and Maintenance Product Line to ensure all stakeholder needs are met.
  • Play a critical role in ensuring the software is implemented and service levels are defined for continuous support from Corporate IT

Accountabilities & Authorities:



  • Manage the operational relationship between Services Operations and Maintenance Product Line and Alstom's Digital Services (DS) counterpart(s) at the site level.
  • Ensure Alstom Digital Services (DS) deliver on service level agreement commitments through enforcement of processes and periodic reviews.
  • Implement corrective action plans for areas where Digital Services (DS) service delivery is not meeting business expectations.
  • For all outages or high-impact incidents, review detailed root cause analysis (RCA) documents. Coordinate with applicable business partners as needed to ensure the provider implements all RCA action items to prevent a reoccurrence.
  • Communicate and be the focal point for all Digital Services (DS) matters and correspondence with Alstom Digital Services (DS).
  • Be responsible for escalation management at the site level to ensure potential issues do not impact business performance.
  • Collaborate with project teams when needed to ensure timely delivery and quality of implementation of new products and procedures.
  • Coordinate with central teams on local infrastructure issues (Network).
  • Be flexible for local needs but manage global processes; also, always remain available on-call for local emergency situations.



Experience Prerequisites & Required Competencies

Education Requirements:

Degree in information technology or information technology management; a master's degree in information system management is preferred.

Mandatory Experience:



  • Proven experience in end user support
  • Solid communication skills with Executive Staff
  • Results-oriented
  • Ability to work with sufficient autonomy and in an international environment
  • Teamwork
  • 3-5 years of DIGITAL SERVICES (DS) Management
  • Proficient with Office 365 Suite, Tier 1 ERPs, Project Planning, User Acceptance Testing, Requirements Gathering and Documentation, and High Level System Modeling



Salary Range:$93,500 - $107, 500
