Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Claims Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional claim handling for auto injury claims and requires a professional with a strong background in the insurance industry.

What You'll Do

* Investigate and evaluate auto injury claims to determine liability and settlement value.
* Negotiate settlements with claimants or their attorneys in a timely and fair manner.
* Collaborate with medical experts, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to resolve complex claims.
* Provide guidance and support to junior claims handlers and other team members.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures.

What You'll Need

* Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., AIC, CPCU) preferred.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in auto injury claims handling, with a proven track record of resolving complex claims.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficient in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Currently hold an active state adjuster license or obtain following date of hire (American National will incur all fees associated/No out of pocket expenses)

The salary range for this position is $58,600 - $81,300.
