Milacron is seeking a seasoned executive with deep expertise in operations, business process management, innovation, technology, and transformation. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of strategic vision, hands-on operational leadership, and experience navigating complex business environments. Key attributes include:

  • Strategic operational leadership-preferably within industrial manufacturing or related sectors

  • Proven transformation track recordin scaling businesses and driving performance in dynamic, high-growth settings

  • Analytical and insight-driven, with a bias toward data-informed decision-making

  • Cross-functional leadershipacross product, operations, finance, and commercial functions

  • M&A fluency, including deal evaluation, due diligence support, and post-merger integration

  • Financial acumen, with comfort navigating P&L statements, balance sheets, and scenario modeling

  • Decisiveness under uncertainty, with a pragmatic approach to risk and execution

  • High emotional intelligence, team-oriented, and capable of building followership across all levels of the organization

  • Growth Execution- Support both organic and inorganic growth strategies, helping to identify high-potential markets, product opportunities, and acquisition targets while ensuring seamless integration and value realization.

  • Operational Excellence- Champion initiatives that enhance manufacturing effectiveness, supply chain performance, cost structure, and customer experience.

  • Organizational Alignment- Collaborate across functions to ensure strategic initiatives are understood, embraced, and effectively executed throughout the organization.

  • Board Engagement- Prepare and deliver key materials and presentations to Milacron's Board of Directors, translating strategy and performance insights into clear, actionable updates.

Bain Capital Business Transformation Partner (BTP) Program

Launched in 2018, Bain Capital's BTP Program is comprises a group of executives each hired by a Bain Capital portfolio company to turbo-charge the value creation of portfolio companies. Bain Capital holds BTP summits several times throughout the year - at least one in-person event hosted at Bain Capital's Boston headquarters - for idea exchange and private equity training.

Currently the BTP Program has 28 executives, working across Bain Capital portfolio companies. BTPs are welcomed into an executive network including deal investment and operations professionals from Bain who bring general investment and operations expertise, as well as functional expertise including marketing, go-to-market, digital, supply chain, manufacturing, etc. Broadly speaking, BTP candidates are strategic and tactical problem solvers with a "hands-on" orientation who understands what it takes to drive real operating change, can create a sense of urgency, and effectively influence others. This executive must have the drive and ability to help develop strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks, to identify practical and meaningful business improvement opportunities, and to define and implement solutions. Key to his/her success will be the ability to manage complexity and ambiguity and transform into action across functional groups, driving value-creation.
