Overview

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting the leadership team and other staff members within the community by performing various clerical duties, such as preparing correspondence, memos, and reports.



Responsibilities

Coordinates appointments and meetings between multiple calendars. Organizes agendas and sets up meetings. Records meeting minutes and maintains meeting attendance records. Interacts with patients, residents, family members, staff, and others through phone calls, written correspondence, and/or in person.



Qualifications

Qualifications Required

    High School Diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications Preferred

  • Associate's degree in business-related field.
  • Experience in an administrative-level support position.

Additional Information

1. Coordinate administrative office functions.

2. Prepare correspondence, memos and reports.

3. Improve administrative functions and coordinate calendars with appointments and meetings.

4. Make lodging and transportation reservations as needed for leadership within the community.

5. Interact with people in person, on the phone or through the mail.

6. Organizing the agendas and setting up meetings.

7. Record meeting minutes and maintain attendance record for Management Team meetings, Board meetings and other meetings as assigned.

8. Promotes the Benedictine Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice by bringing the Mission and Core Values into the day-to-day activities of the company.

9. Performs other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned.
