SUMMARY The Specialty Banking Deposit Representative is responsible for the boarding of new accounts for the bank's products and services to existing and new prospects. The Specialty Banking Deposit Representative is responsible for the new accounts and for providing support services function of the Specialty Banking Group (SBG) to the SBG Sales Industry and Relationship Managers. The Specialty Banking Deposit Representative is responsible for retaining and developing good commercial business relationships that lead to business checking accounts and other service products offered by the Bank. The Specialty Banking Deposit Representative assists management of the Group to ensure retention of existing relationships and growth of new relationships. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of 3-5 years of new accounts experience in a financial institution similar to ours. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. COMPUTER & SOFTWARE SKILLS
