We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a PACS Imaging IT Director. In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for leading, managing, supporting and directing the IT operations for all Radiology & Cardiology imaging locations across Optum NY/NJ. The candidate must have an in-depth knowledge of PACS systems, software, and related applications. This includes managing the daily operations, scheduling and mentoring of personnel assigned to the department, conducting regular day-to-day communication, along with monitoring and maintaining applications. They would also demonstrate a deep understanding of clinical operations, while working with vendors, project team(s), and clinical staff to tailor the system to fit the needs of the organization. The candidate would also routinely perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical routines associated with the use of Radiology IT systems and would be responsible for developing and documenting the internal procedures that will be used in conjunction with Radiology, Cardiology & ancillary applications. They will then design, build, test, install, train and maintain those solutions. Lastly, they would be expected to use innovative and critical thinking skills in providing systems solutions to advance the business needs and to train and support PACS administrators. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $110,200 to $188,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
