Title: Gaming Program Specialist Department: Hotel, Culinary Arts & Tourism Campus Location: Arundel Mills Salary Range: $33.40/hr Work Mode: This position requires some regular in-person presence on campus or at alternative locations, depending on business needs of the office. Hours Per Week:Up to 25 hours per week as needed Position Type:Hourly and Temporary, Position Summary This position is responsible for providing program support to the Hotel, Culinary Arts, and Tourism Institute (HCAT) department. Responsibilities include monitoring lab inventory, updating course materials, and orienting new instructors. Job Duties and Responsibilities PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT: Acts as the primary resource for the HCAT dealer school regarding curriculum and supplies. Collaborates with current gaming instructors to keep all course documents up to date.
ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT:
Assists with facilitating new student information sessions at dealer school. Assists with ensuring that all students have access to dealer lab facilities that comply with safety, sanitation, and industry standards. Monitors dealer lab equipment inventory and recommends new supplies and equipment as needed to ensure students have access to appropriate materials.
INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL COLLABORATION:
Collaborates with other dealer school instructors to update course materials. Assists in orienting new instructors and communicates information about new casino games, policies, and procedures to current instructors.
OTHER DUTIES: As assigned by the Noncredit Coordinator and Assistant Director/Director.

Required Qualifications: Five (5) to Ten (10) years of relevant experience High School Diploma or GED MLGCA Gaming License Required Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills Familiarity with computer applications such as Microsoft Office. Ability to work with minimal supervision and with attention to accuracy, details, and deadlines. Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the program. Current casino employee with a minimum level of Full Floor Supervisor Preferred Qualifications: Level of Dual Pit Manager or above preferred
