This position will be based in the HQ Charlotte, NC

All about the role:

The Logistics Inbound Transportations will be responsible for coordinating the inbound transportation flows of materials and components to three Electrolux production plants across North America.

You will oversee a variety of freight categories, including Truck Load, Less-than-Truckload (LTL), Intermodal, Dedicated Fleet, Drayage, and Expedited Freight. Your focus will be on developing and implementing transportation processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring efficient and cost-effective logistics operations.

As a key contributor to our supply chain, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Material Planning, Industrial Operations, Finance Controllers, and Logistics Procurement. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at cost mitigation and service level enhancement, while also acting as a technical expert in transportation solutions.

This role offers the opportunity to influence strategic logistics planning and contribute to the performance and resilience of our supply chain network.

What you'll do:

  • Oversee carrier capacity across multiple freight categories including TL, LTL, Intermodal, Dedicated Fleet, Drayage, and Expedited Freight.

  • Engage with plant demands and coordinate the transport of components from suppliers to factories.

  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost control and service level optimization.

  • Analyze carrier KPIs and cost data to identify and act on improvement opportunities.

  • Develop transportation capacity forecasts aligned with planning demand.

  • Map and implement procedures for inbound transportation processes at the plants.

  • Act as a technical expert in transportation, recommending and implementing logistics flow improvements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance logistics performance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferred major area of study in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a relevant business area.

  • Minimum 3 years of years of relevant experience in Logistics.

  • Ability to travel to Electrolux plants and supplier locations, approximately 20% of the time.
