Overview: Schedule: Day Shift, Flexible schedule, 36 hrs/week *Schedule is based on events at the Simulation Center Job Description Summary: Job Description:
Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in the field of nursing, required. Licensure Requirement: RN, State of Ohio, required. Certifications: Current PALS certification, required. PALS instructor, preferred. Simulation coordinator, CHSE or CHOS, preferred. Skills: Competency in nursing clinical practice. Proficient information management skills. Word, excel, and power point presentation skills. Special expertise in skills-based training. Experience: Three years of clinical experience and two years of inpatient, required. Three years of adult classroom teaching experience, required. Clinical background in pediatrics, required. Experience working well with individuals of various backgrounds and motivating them to work toward competency development, required. Demonstrated skills-based teaching experience, required. Simulation experience, preferred. Experience in role playing and debriefing, preferred. Previous EMR software experience, preferred. Physical Requirements: OCCASIONALLY: Bend/twist, Climb stairs/ladder, Driving motor vehicles (work required) *additional testing may be required, Lifting / Carrying: 0-10 lbs, Pushing / Pulling: 0-25 lbs, Reaching above shoulder, Squat/kneel FREQUENTLY: Sitting, Standing, Walking CONTINUOUSLY: Audible speech, Color vision, Computer skills, Decision Making, Flexing/extending of neck, Hand use: grasping, gripping, turning, Hearing acuity, Interpreting Data, Problem solving, Repetitive hand/arm use, Seeing - Far/near Additional Physical Requirements performed but not listed above: (not specified) "The above list of duties is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this classification.
