Lab Technician Co Op / 1st Shift (Part-Time)

Danfoss Power Solutions in Eden Prairie, MN, has an exciting opportunity for a Co-op Lab Technician. This role will provide hands-on support in our dynamic hydraulics test lab, assisting technicians and engineers with critical test operations and lab maintenance activities.

This is a part-time (minimum 20 hours per week) position, working in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Pay rate for this position will range from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on education level and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assist technicians with test stand setups and troubleshooting.
• Support 5S initiatives to maintain lab organization, cleanliness, and safety.
• Participate in the relocation of test stands, including disassembly, reassembly, and documentation.
• Help maintain detailed documentation for test stand configurations and test procedures.
• Assist with new test stand builds and related capital projects.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed an associate's degree in Fluid Power Engineering Technician (AAS) or a similar technical program.
• Strong foundational knowledge of hydraulics.
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability and willingness to learn quickly, take initiative, and contribute positively to team objectives.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Preferred candidates have diverse work experiences demonstrating adaptability and practical skills.
