Summary

The Service Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the return to ready process maintains efficiency by coordinating the logistics of generators, parts and bulk between the yard, technicians, and customers or drivers. The Service Logistics coordinator is also responsible for maintaining the yard and shop to 6S standards.

Essential Functions

  • Inspect, Load, and Unload Generators, Parts, and Equipment and put in the designated area.
  • Inspect and check equipment coming in and out of the shop. Making sure it is in accordance with specifications and provide the correct documentation
  • Unload and Load equipment on trucks with forklift
  • Ability to deliver parts to customers and technicians when needed by company vehicle.
  • Interacts with customers, internal and external, drivers and other branches
  • Ensures that inventory is properly stored and records are accurate.
  • Work closely with the Service group and the PM group to provide fast, efficient service to our customers
  • Keeps New Sales line/yard organized
  • Provides support on Pre-Delivery Inspection on new equipment.
  • Helps in shop as needed with equipment washing, parts organization, and 6S functions.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma/certificate or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a similar position.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the local language, reads and comprehends technical data/service manuals and writes legibly.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 70 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, perform repetitive bending tasks and achieve required torque specifications per manufacturer's repair procedures.

Computer Skills

Must have keyboarding skills.

Valid driver's license

The employee may occasionally be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold; extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in some work environments is occasionally loud.
