Location:

The Account Rep will be working at the customer sites based in Northwestern Nevada and portions of Northern California. Candidate preference to be based at Reno, NV

Work Type:

Onsite at customer sites

Mon to Fri, 40 hours a week but need flexibility considering sales position

Mission:

The focus of this Account Representative role is on supporting the activities required for growing market share and customer share of wallet within the assigned territory in Northwestern Nevada. The support provided will help execute on Customer and Territory Management strategies that align with Epiroc's Go-To-Market Strategy. Initiative, organization, a competitive drive for sales, and the ability to understand and quickly react to changing organizational environments are critical keys to success. The preferred location for this position is in the area surrounding Reno, Nevada.

Customer's organizations, goals, and desired results can quickly change, and as a result this role requires regularly meeting and proactively establishing new relationships with existing and prospective customers. Poise and an engaging, empathetic communication style based on natural warmth and enthusiasm are the keys to achieving the goals of this role. The work involves driving toward results by enrolling the commitment and buy-in of others. Sincere appreciation for people and how they are each uniquely motivated is the foundation for designing and implementing interactive communication and decision-making processes. This role requires a high degree of customer obsession with a goal of exceeding customer expectations.

The work environment includes being regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 25 pounds, frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds and is occasionally required to lift up to and in excess of 100 pounds with supporting equipment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. Personal Protection Equipment and MSHA 5000-23 certification is required in this role. The position is considered Safety Sensitive. Significant travel driving in the region is to be expected, however minimal need for over-night travel.

Responsibilities:



  • Support market share, profitability, and revenue growth targets for drilling consumable products in Northwestern Nevada and portions of Northern California.
  • Align customer's goals and objectives with Epiroc's products and services by earning "trusted advisor" status with key customer contacts and teams.
  • Support the ongoing refinement and execution of Epiroc USA's Go-To-Market strategy by aligning and collaborating with business line managers, product and application specialists, agents, dealers and other salespersons and leaders within Epiroc.
  • Maintain detailed product forecasts by working closely with the District Manager and the local customer base to ensure appropriate inventory and service levels.
  • Manage inventory on hand along with various consignment locations.
  • Manage warehouse and consignment location cleanliness and organization
  • Process incoming and outgoing inventory
  • Provide proper and timely documentation for invoicing and planning
  • Administrate cost per foot agreements



Competence, Skills, and Experience:



  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred or the equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Fresh engineering graduates (mining/ civil / mechanical / industrial) are invited to apply
  • Preferred customer service experience in an industrial environment, mining or construction. Heavy equipment or tooling experience is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required with a proficiency in Business Operating, MS Office and CRM systems.
