Compensation Range: $92,700 - $116,100
(Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.)

Job Purpose

ABSL is seeking a full-time Procurement Manager to work directly with company personnel to procure necessary equipment, materials, and supplies for customer projects, internal projects and other office needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure all Purchase Requests are accurate and complete before processing.
  • Work with Program Managers, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Test departments to plan and procure all project materials to meet production schedules.
  • Assist in developing procurement options for time and delivery sensitive materials.
  • Review all Purchase Requests for Flight-Grade materials including all necessary approvals.
  • Manage open orders - Evaluate and monitor contracts to be sure that vendors and materials comply with the terms and conditions of the contract.
  • Attend project meetings and provide updates on the procurement status.
  • Work with the Quality Department to ensure the proper flow down of Quality requirements to suppliers (AS9100, FAR/DFAR).
  • Support Bid teams in quoting materials for potential new projects.
  • Follow up with suppliers after orders have been placed to ensure the order has been received and the items will be delivered on time.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all questions relating to purchasing.
  • Collate paperwork for the Accounting Department on received orders. This includes: purchase requests, POs, quotes, pack slips, and invoices.
  • Review and resolve supplier invoice discrepancies.
  • Serve as approving official for credit card transactions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of procurement experience.
  • Ability to follow and execute standard operating procedures in an aerospace environment (AS9100).
  • Execute work with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to work within a close-knit team to strict deadlines.
  • Proficient experience in an ERP system.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • "Off" hours or weekend support may be required at times.
