About the position

The Named Account Executive for Mid-Market Non-Profit at Tableau is responsible for driving sales of Tableau Analytics to organizations with 100-500+ employees. This role focuses on both acquiring new business and expanding existing accounts within the nonprofit sector, emphasizing the importance of understanding business operations and decision-making processes at the C-level. The position is part of Salesforce's social impact center, which aims to empower change makers and improve the state of the world through technology.

Responsibilities
  • Sell Tableau Analytics to nonprofit organizations with 100-500+ employees.

  • Manage a territory of nonprofit accounts, focusing on both new business acquisition and expansion of existing accounts.

  • Partner with internal resources to drive additional value and expertise for clients.

  • Generate a consistent sales pipeline leading to closed revenue and quota attainment.

  • Sell based on value and return on investment rather than just technical functionality.

  • Build credibility and trust to influence buying decisions.

  • Uncover business initiatives and struggles to align solutions with client needs.

  • Create demand by identifying business problems and matching them to our solutions.

  • Understand business operations and priorities that influence C-level decisions.

Requirements
  • 5-7 years of full cycle sales experience.

  • Experience selling to C-suite executives, technical teams, and business leaders.

  • Ability to articulate business value and deliver presentations to diverse audiences.

  • Experience working with or selling to nonprofit organizations.

Nice-to-haves
  • Experience within the nonprofit sector

  • Experience in a sales role within the technology sector.

  • Familiarity with Analytics and CRM platforms, particularly Tableau and Salesforce.

  • Strong networking skills within the nonprofit sector.
