Moog Medical Devices Group specializes in designing, manufacturing, and distributing industry-leading enteral feeding and infusion pumps. Through substantial investment in research and development and leveraging our extensive expertise, we meticulously design and develop advanced infusion systems that enhance medication safety, optimize application performance, and effectively reduce medical expenses.

Moog Medical Devices (MMD) is looking for a Strategic Account Manager.

You will manage high valued accounts, with the objective to retained and grow the business between both MMD and key account. Its responsible for building and maintaining relationships to be both the voice of the customer to Moog and the MMD's voice to the customer.

You will develop new business, evaluating and quoting business opportunities and managing awarded project opportunities. In addition, this role is responsible for managing forecast, increasing bookings and driving overall customer satisfaction while driving cross functional coordination with internal teams to implement new design or design changes accurately and amend purchase orders accordingly.

In this supervisory role, you will manage the Sr Sales Assistant and potentially Sales Representatives. You will report to the Director National Sales in Salt Lake City, UT. Remote or hybrid work schedule may be considered.

As a Strategic Account Manager, you'll also be responsible for:

  • Build a sustainable relationship with Key strategic customers by providing all necessary information and fulfilling request to customers on timely manner.

  • Ability to effectively communicate and develop relationships over a wide range of operational and professional levels, Buyer, engineers and C suite level executives.

  • Retaining and Growing business with customers is key for this position and will be measure with KPI.

  • Responsible to conduct negotiation with Customers that leads to have long term relationship by having: MSA, Contracts and Long-term purchase orders.

  • KPI fair definition with Customer.

  • Monitor and manage common KPIs with customer to make sure MMD operates accordingly.

  • Capable lead a problem solving discussion

  • Capable to facilitate a technical conversation about MMD products.

  • Task management is key as managing multiple accounts at the same time to allow balanced demand from MMD.

  • Capable to interact with other departments to develop and facilitate the implementation of new products introduction and or changes to current products.

  • Owner of the Quoting process and to keep the quoting tools up to date within MMD

To be considered for the Strategic Account Manager, here are the skills you'll bring with you:

  • Bachelor of science degree in engineering, Technology or Business from an accredited university; minimum five (5) years relevant to work experience which including customer facing roles-responsibilities.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with levels of technical and operating personnel both external and internal.

  • Ability to succeed in highly regulated compliance-oriented environment while still providing service excellence.

  • Ability to identify, develop, grow and maintain relationships with key stake holders both at customers and within Moog.

  • Ability to Manage complex critical situation appropriately

  • Ability to travel up to 20%

  • Understand documentation, basics product performance and manufacturing methods.

  • Ability to understand and apply financial and costing information to generate a business case to evaluate opportunities.

  • Ability to understand market data to be applied on quotes, forecast and growth direction opportunities

Salary Range Transparency:

Salt Lake City, UT $135,000.00-$175,000.00 Annually

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
