Join our Team: Strategic Account Manager
San Antonio, TX - Remote

Join our team at Terex and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Strategic Account Manager to contribute to the Terex team.

What you'll do

  • Work directly with our largest National customers and champion one of our allied products.
  • Develop and support target growth customers in both utility and AWP markets.
  • Develop customer business fits that will help drive sales, improve market share, and balance branch and field service workload.
  • Provide pricing guidance to ensure we are quoting market competitive pricing.
  • Provide forward looking perspective to help anticipate business needs and trends.
  • Work closely with local branch Territory Sales Managers.
  • Partner with marketing to support marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with coordination of market pricing & annual purchase agreements.

What you'll bring

Required Qualifications:

  • Highest level of integrity
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to travel 3 out of 4 weeks each month
  • Knowledgeable on the company, our industry, our products, and foster lasting relationships with our customers
  • Willingness to submit for pre-employment background check and drug screening
  • Must be able to pass Motor Vehicle Report as driving a requirement for the position

Preferred Qualification:

  • 5+ years in a similar field
  • Experience utilizing Salesforce
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices involved in new business development, product marketing, and sales
  • BS in Business or Finance
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Proficient at public speaking
  • Experience in selling new and used Terex equipment and parts by having an understanding of customer objectives, strategies, and issues
  • Proven ability to establish credibility and strong partnerships across the organization and with customers
  • Thorough understanding of the utility industry and ability to offer informed perspective on the market and strategies to facilitate growth
  • Intimate knowledge of our customer base, their buying habits, business models, and how to leverage the Terex value proposition
  • Ability to lead, mentor and develop others
  • Excellent computer skillsparticularly within Microsoft office
  • Comfortable with operating all types of construction and industrial equipment
  • Flexibility for occasional extended overnight trips will be necessary

The compensation range for this position is pay $110k - $125k. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
