SPACEPORT EXPERIENCE SPECIALIST

The Spaceport Experience Specialist plays a key role in designing and delivering best-in-class employee experiences across SpaceX. This role supports the execution of internal and external programming, site activations, wellness offerings, and community-building efforts that enhance culture, boost morale, and drive engagement at our spaceport locations.You will partner with internal teams to bring large-scale initiatives to life while also owning the day-to-day execution of services, events, and amenities that improve quality of life for SpaceX employees. The ideal candidate is creative, operationally-minded, and has a sharp eye for aesthetics. You'll be responsible for improving shared spaces, owning internal communications like the monthly Experience newsletter, and helping create environments where employees feel inspired and supported.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Support Spaceport Experience operations including onsite events, amenities, wellness activations, and engagement programming
  • Lead the creation and distribution of the monthly experience newsletter, managing content, formatting, and stakeholder coordination
  • Identify and execute improvements across employee-facing spaces, ensuring they are functional, inviting, and aligned with SpaceX's design aesthetic
  • Support signage updates, space refreshes, and design-forward upgrades in collaboration with Facilities and Development teams
  • Monitor the quality and consistency of employee-facing services, resolving issues and upholding operational standards
  • Assist with event logistics, vendor coordination, signage, and internal communication workflows
  • Train staff on customer service expectations, anticipating needs, and effective problem resolution
  • Maintain team documentation including SOPs, onboarding guides, and playbooks
  • Track program data, ticketing trends, and supports internal reporting
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Culinary, Safety, Facilities, and other internal partners
  • Draft scopes of work, conducts job walkdowns, and supports the RFPO and purchasing process


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:




  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 2+ years of experience within the hospitality or operations industry



PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:



  • Strong creative instincts and a polished eye for aesthetics and space design
  • Experience launching new programs or services from the ground up
  • Experience managing internal newsletters, campaigns, or communication tools
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and collaborative/project tools
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Familiar with vendor bidding, purchasing processes, and creating scopes of work
  • Ability to read floor plans and assist with space planning decisions
  • Highly organized with strong time management and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Experience developing SOPs, onboarding materials, and internal training docs
  • Self-starter comfortable operating with limited direction and adjusting to evolving priorities


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout a large facility for long periods
