Are you ready to combine your field expertise with the latest in surveying technology? Interstates is seeking a skilled and motivated Survey Technician to join our Oklahoma team. In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for layout and coordination for the accurate installation of electrical supports, equipment, sleeves, and inserts as needed on construction job sites, using advanced Trimble equipment. Be prepared for variety-along with your work in Oklahoma, you'll have opportunities to travel to additional project sites as needed. Responsibilities:



  • Operate the Trimble equipment by using standards to produce accurate construction layouts
  • Work alongside project leaders to coordinate layout and smooth project execution workflow
  • Coordinate with project leaders on electrical equipment by planning key activities to increase productivity
  • Provide recommendations on efficient ways to lay out a project or area by attending coordination meetings
  • Consult with the design staff to review project deliverables for accuracy and contract requirements
  • Perform quality checks during the installation process
  • Install hanger inserts, block outs, sleeves, or other project markers
  • Regularly communicate progress updates to onsite leadership
  • Provide technical support to onsite and offsite project leadership
  • Safely complete the tasks above with a high level of accuracy in various working conditions
  • Properly maintain and care for Trimble unit and associated equipment


Secondary Responsibilities:



  • Work within software packages to produce or update documents, spreadsheets, databases, email, and other information secondary to deliverables
  • Complete design progress updates in Revit
  • 3D scanning and registration of scans

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma required and 1-2 years' experience using Trimble or surveying equipment.

Location: We are open to the position being based near the Tulsa, OK region.

Travel Requirements: Daily travel to the job-site will be required. Future project opportunities may require additional travel and/or relocation.

Compensation: The pay range for this position is $24.23/hr - $30.29/hr+ benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by the experience and education required, and level of responsibility. The range posted for this role represents a range that Interstates, in good faith, believes it is willing to pay at the time of this posting. The pay is determined by job related skills, training, education, and experience.
