Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC handles end-to-end warehousing and distribution logistics needs utilizing our strategic network of storage facilities. Our facilities are capable of receiving, storing, processing and dispatching cargo, so we can build flexibility and resilience into the supply chain process.Our integrated solutions allow us to be prepared for supply chain risks, so we can plan distribution to better achieve lead time and goals despite unexpected conditions. Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Some weekends

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to lead and direct team efforts in a warehouse environment.
  • Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line. Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
  • Marks materials with identifying information such as labels.
  • Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
  • Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
  • Arranges product in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
  • Reach truck operators who are picking and processing orders
  • May occasionally load out trailers using forklift
  • Limited RDC and DA processing
  • Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

Leads a group of 10+ employees in the warehouse operation. Responsibilities include ability to lead, motivate and direct team efforts while informing department supervisor of problems or potential problems that require immediate attention.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range:

$20.00 an hour

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
