What we expect What You'll Do: Lead a skilled and motivated team in advancing current technologies, developing new processes, and implementing new technologies in a 24/7 manufacturing operation producing critical components used in the assembly of innovative lighting technologies Responsible for transferring new products from the R&D phase to the production floor through structured industrialization and new product introduction methodologies Motivate and stimulate your team to meet technical challenges with innovative ideas and deliver to critical timelines Contribute to a safe and dynamic manufacturing environment Provides technical guidance and mentorship to team members, supporting their professional growth and development Who we are looking for Who We're Looking For: Energetic leader ready to bring the best out of every member of the team Ability to create a collaborative environment with the team and across functions Problem-solver with a keen eye for detail Someone who can help a team find the opportunity in the face of a challenge Strong leader with a willingness to go the extra mile to achieve a vision Extensive experience developing automated or semi-automated high-volume manufacturing processes with Six Sigma capabilities Requirements: Must have prior NPI Manufacturing and/or Process Development experience Superior organizational skills aimed at innovating, managing timelines, and delivering results Demonstrated expertise in a variety of manufacturing and assembly technologies and able to effectively implement said technologies with quality and cost in mind Working knowledge of production methods for ceramic, glass, or polymer materials and coatings seen as a definite plus Ability to lead teams by establishing challenging expectations, developing individuals, establishing structured processes, and creating a culture of commitment and accountability Strong applied understanding of Design for Six Sigma principles; Formal Six Sigma training considered a definite plus Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills Bachelor's degree in engineering (Materials, Polymers, Paints); Master's degree in Engineering Management, Technology Management, or Business Administration preferred ams OSRAM is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
