Job Function/ Summary:

In conjunction with Digital Channel Managers and Sales organization creates Digital Channel Sales and Online and Mobile Banking Utilization goals. Partners with Finance, Product, Sales, Marketing, Fraud and Risk to develop and measure key metrics. Develops monthly reporting showing progress against goals and metrics. Oversees digital market research and analysis, leveraging findings and insights to define opportunities and recommends acquisition, relationship deepening and utilization activities within markets and segments for digital channels. Makes recommendations for future growth. Serves as liaison to Division LOB Controller for planning process support (budget, forecast and strategic planning),

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts research related to financial services to better understand the competitive landscape across all product lines.
  • Gathers all relevant data for evaluation and to make recommendations about how the bank can increase business by providing appropriate information and services to clients online.
  • Meets with colleagues across all product lines and may play a role in product development for the digital channels.
  • Uses Google Analytics and other social media tools to understand products exposure online to increase acquisition opportunities.
  • Proactively work with the wider sales organization and deliver outstanding sales support in order to retain and grow the business
  • Support development of business cases.
  • Supports channel managers and bank teams to drive increased profitability, balances and margin through pricing optimization, competitive analysis, risk mitigation, and other analytical methods for consumer and business lines of business.
  • Supports Channel Manager and Bank teams to continuously identify product and pricing gaps, process improvements, efficiency opportunities and product risks/issues and receive stakeholder buy-in and alignment on proposed solutions.
  • Provides reporting and analysis that assists Division Leadership with monitoring the team's progress in achieving stated objectives and ensuring effective communication of progress as needed
  • Coordinates monthly budget variance reports, understands budget trends and works closely with Division LOB Controller.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Business, Finance discipline and/or equivalent experience required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of prior digital analytics, revenue forecasting or related experience.

MINIMUM REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

  • Knowledge in the following areas preferred: regulations governing bank products, marketing strategy development and bank's operating systems.
  • Demonstrated financial management skills with ability to perform analysis that will deliver incremental value through support of product, pricing and marketing initiatives
  • Proven collaboration, influencing and consensus building skills that support leading, managing, and working collaboratively with peers and executive management
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word and Excel.

ESSENTIAL MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
  • Ability to operate related equipment to perform the essential job functions
  • Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions
  • Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions
  • Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 10 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division an "undue hardship" then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
