We have an exciting opportunity for a Customs Brokerage Manager to manage and coordinate all customs clearance activities at our Dallas location.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute custom and trade compliance plans and processes to optimize service and cost performance in the customs clearance activities.

Contribute to planning and directing workflow of employees to ensure customs clearance is completed in a timely manner.

Monitor shipped items, shipping validity dates and debits and duties/tariffs at government institutions

Execute customs entries (Consumption & Foreign Trade Zone), categorize goods based on information provided by customers and undertake customs security filing

Close out post clearance modification, execute inbound and outbound documentation, archive customs documents and record customs shipment information and physical status.

Calculate duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight and volume of merchandise exported/imported to/from foreign destinations

Impart guidance on pricing and margin, support on bids, RFQs and customer presentations

Resolve customer issues and appropriately resolve incidents such as escalations/disputes raised by internal or external customers

Skills and Qualifications:

Considerable knowledge of all regulatory aspects related to importing

Ability to create and execute vision for customs product that incorporates compliance, customer service, commercial value and shareholder value.

Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Strong computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and database applications

Demonstrated personal leadership skills, sharing the core vision and values of DGF and its strategic direction

Financial skills / budgeting experience

Typically requires BS/BA and 7-8 years' experience in related field, including at least 3-4 years of supervisory experience

Customs Brokerage License preferred

Logis Air / Cargo Wise systems knowledge is a plus

Pay Range: $79,777.50 - $106,370.00+ (Based on Experience)
