Application Window Open date: August 4, 2025 Next review date: Monday, Sep 15, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Monday, Sep 29, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description Professor Mona Lynch, at the University of California, Irvine, invites applications for a 2-year postdoctoral scholar for the "Measuring Access to Racial Justice in California's Criminal Courts" project. The postdoctoral scholar selected for this position will conduct multi-methods research on the implementation of California's Racial Justice Act (RJA) to assess whether and how it has achieved its policy goals. Start date may be as early as October 1, 2025 and ideally by November 1, 2025. Specific duties include working with the research team on the design and implementation of a statewide survey, collecting quantitative and qualitative data across the state, conducting quantitative and qualitative data analysis, contributing to the write-up of research reports and manuscripts for publication, and supervision of undergraduate and graduate student research assistants.
