Responsibilities

Responsible for the credit and collection process for past due customer balances, and backup for all positions within the dept to coordinate accurate and timely handling of all customer accounts, ensuring quality customer service while supporting the Publishing & Professional Education Solutions (PES) revenue goals yet maintaining the established days outstanding for receivables. Serve as backup Oracle Super User for Accounts Receivable and Advanced Collections modules.

  • Responsible for collection of past due customer accounts, utilizing the established credit and collections policies and procedures.

  • Responsible for making credit decisions on releasing Publishing orders.
  • Responsible for release and collection of all Evergreen orders.
  • Serve as backup for the Accounts Receivable staff to result in a well-qualified, empowered, informed and productive work team.
  • Serve as backup Oracle AR Super User

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years accounts receivable experience
  • 3 years business to business collections experience
  • Familiarity with ERP systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 6 years of credit and collections experience
  • Experience with Oracle
