Overall Summary:

The Maintenance Planner coordinates with maintenance, scheduling, and production staff members. This role plans and schedules maintenance activities and resources.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:



  • Control and monitor preventative maintenance programs, equipment repairs, replacement, installation, lubrication, and labor.
  • Create and monitor maintenance work order requests for production and facility equipment; maintain maintenance metrics for efficiency.
  • Serve as CMMS Administrator; maintain and track work orders spare parts and maintenance history of equipment.
  • Create standard maintenance and CMMS processes.
  • Partner with CMMS vendor to modify software to better accomplish goals; provide technical support for corporate rollout.
  • Accurately manage maintenance assigned SharePoint and content.
  • Maintain maintenance calendars.
  • Coordinate and plan projects; gather data and request quotes from vendors for preventative maintenance.
  • Create maintenance equipment, preventative maintenance, and labor reports to track usage and reliability data.
  • Support facility compliance audits at the local, state, and federal level.
  • Train new employees in maintenance procedures and expectations.
  • Plan preventative maintenance and repair of equipment working with scheduling to minimize production downtime.
  • Serve as backup to the Parts Coordinator, assisting with ordering and receiving parts.
  • Support the setup and movement of company assets, including equipment and furniture, as needed.
  • Perform basic mechanical/facility repairs.
  • Organize labor and provide assignments using production departmental labor.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Perform other (or other related) duties as applicable or assigned.


Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies:



  • Proficient in basic English reading and writing.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Skilled at managing priorities and confident in making effective decisions under pressure.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with solid mathematical and analytical capabilities.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized in task execution.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
  • Certified or experienced in forklift operation.


Education and Experience:



  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years' vocational/technical school in mechanical repair or related field.
  • 2+ years' of experience in industrial maintenance or other related field.
  • Megamation or CMMS experience.
  • SharePoint management experience.
  • Previous participation on a safety team and/or other safety training a plus.
  • Database experience a plus.



Physical Requirements:



  • Ability to lift 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours as necessary.
  • Comfortable working at heights in an aerial lift.
  • May be exposed to loud noise, outdoor climates, and confined spaces.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, pivot, crouch, squat, kneel, and stoop for up to 12 hours.
  • Sensory requirements: vision, hearing, feeling.
  • Upper extremity motion requirements: fine motor movements, pushing/pulling with arms, grasping and pinching.
  • Post offer, pre-employment medical exam required.


Salary:
The starting wage range for this position is $22.00-29.00/hr
