The ideal candidate will have 10-12 years of experience and the following: Experience Required:
  • 10-12 years of overall experience
  • Strong PL/SQL development skills
  • Deep understanding of Oracle EBS data model
Techno-Functional Expertise in Oracle EBS Financials:
  • General Ledger (GL) - including FERC compliance
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Cash Management
  • Oracle Project Accounting (OPA)
  • Fixed Assets - including Depreciation and Unitization
Additional Tools & Technologies (Preferred/Plus):
  • Web ADI
  • Hyperion Essbase
  • EiS / Splash BI
  • Oracle APEX
  • Power Plant (Visual Basic)
  • Oracle Fusion Implementation
  • Oracle Integration Cloud

Primary Duties

1. Consults with business partner to identify and define software applications needs. Analyzes requests for changes, updates or modifications to new or existing software applications and makes recommendations for designs to meet client specifications.

2. Maintain, transform, and update data between two or more systems using Integration software.

3. Coordinates and prioritizes team work assignments, providing leadership to team members and other IT staff to ensure achievement of goals and objectives within company policies and procedures

4. Oversees the maintenance of complex software applications through the preparation and testing of software code for files, reports, screens and programs. Ensures day-to-day incidents are resolved timely and accurately to ensure the integrity of the services being provided.

5. Coordinates and assists with assigning tasks to ensure proper administration of activities. Selects, develops, trains, motivates and evaluates the performance of assigned employees.

6. Monitors team activities and assignment/project progress related to technical information research, analyses, standards development, administration, maintenance, problem resolution and prioritizations.

7. Assists in the preparation of project work plans, the development of service request cost and time estimates and the development of management reports on plans, projects and performance.

8. Reviews and approves documentation of new and modified software systems adheres to Atmos energy and Industry standards to provide a detailed description for reference.

9. Participates in certain aspects of user consulting, systems analysis, general systems design and detail systems design.

10. Trains end users to operate new or modified programs.

11. Keeps abreast of new and changing technological advances in program languages, utilities, tools and client/server technology to ensure achievement of optimum results.

12. Communicate analytical reports and critical situations status to upper management for decision making and provide feedback to team members about better ways to implement solutions.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
Educational/Experience Level

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, Business or a closely related field and five years of experience in software programming.

Communication Skills

Requires the ability to communicate, persuade and/or influence internal and/or external business partners at a high level such as senior management on matters of a technical and/or complex nature.

Numeric Skills

Requires the ability to perform analyses involving ratios, percentages and simple statistical methods.

Computer Skills

Requires a very high level of computer skills in order to use various software packages as well as a familiarity with hardware configuration. Need to be proficient in MS Office Tools.

Work Conditions

Works in an office environment. Position could be subject to work outside of normal business hours. Requires occasionally performing activities including, but not limited to, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning and/or lifting.
