The Sustainability Specialist, Americas is a key position for supporting the sales, marketing, and sustainability teams based in North America. The Market Sustainability team influences the expectations and demands of the market to recognize Interface's sustainability leadership in product offerings and corporate commitments.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide timely, professional customer service for project and sales support

  • Learn, present, and develop new educational content for designers, architects and owners around key sustainability topics

  • Manage events in-market and for customer visits to Georgia

  • Develop strategy and key performance metrics for market sustainability team impact, including quantification of commercial benefit and qualitative feedback from customers

  • Project manage and create marketing and external content for market-facing sustainability positioning

  • Develop circularity asset map and support relationship development with partners

  • Promote Re Entry and coordinate reverse logistics with sales teams to bring back product from the field.

  • Coordinate data collection with other teams to support RFPs, corporate sustainability reporting initiatives,

  • Public speaking and written communication around challenging sustainability topics

  • Work as a team to provide training and tools to help sales leverage our sustainability leadership to pursue and close sales

  • Perform other duties as assigned in an ever-changing landscape

Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent public speaking and live presentation skills-ability to effectively communicate complex sustainability concepts and data to diverse audiences

  • Familiarity with building product sustainability databases (Ecomedes, Mindful Materials etc.) a plus

  • Travel up to 30%

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degreein sustainability, business, engineering, or sciences

  • 3 years of experience with the architecture, engineering, and/or construction industry

  • Project management experience
