The Opportunity: As a Golf Operations Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our golf facilities. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities related to golf operations, delivering exceptional service to our members and guests, and maintaining the high standards of our club. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to contribute to the success of our golf program and enhance the overall member experience.

Duties and Functions:



  • Golf Facility Management:

    • Supervise and coordinate all aspects of golf operations, including tee time reservations, cart rentals, and practice facilities.
    • Ensure that the golf shop and clubhouse are well-maintained, organized, and stocked with golf merchandise.
    • Manage the golf course maintenance schedule in collaboration with the grounds crew to minimize disruptions to play.


  • Customer Service:

    • Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
    • Train and oversee golf shop staff to maintain a high level of customer service and adherence to club policies.


  • Tournament and Event Management:

    • Assist in organizing and executing golf tournaments, outings, and events, including registration, scoring, and awards presentations.
    • Coordinate with the Food and Beverage team to ensure seamless event experiences for participants.


  • Player Services:

    • Manage the pace of play and enforce golf course rules and etiquette.
    • Assist with player registration, starting, and monitoring on the course.


  • Financial Administration:

    • Ensure accurate record-keeping of green fee transactions, memberships, and merchandise sales.
    • Assist in budget planning and cost control efforts within the golf operations department.




Qualifications Standards:



  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in golf operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and tournament management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide top-notch customer service.
  • Proficiency in golf reservation software and point-of-sale systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and irregular hours, as needed.
  • Knowledge of basic golf equipment and merchandise.
