The Role:

The Manager, HR Operations & Rewards is a key member of the HR team within the Electric Thermal Solutions (ETS) business of Spirax Group plc. and will report to the Vice President Human Resources, Electric Thermal Solutions This role is responsible for the day-to-day execution of compensation, benefits, HR systems (HRIS), onboarding, and people analytics. The role ensures operational excellence in reward processes, accurate HR data management, and timely support to employees and managers across the business.


The Manager will take ownership of benefits processes and employee onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires and ongoing support for all employees. This role will also work closely with the Group Reward and HRIS teams to ensure alignment with global frameworks, systems, and policies. In addition, the Manager will collaborate with reward leaders across other Spirax divisions to share best practices, support cross-business initiatives, and contribute to the continuous improvement of reward and HR operations across the Group.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Compensation:
    • Coordinate and execute the annual pay review process, including data collection, modeling, and communication.
    • Manage off-cycle salary changes, promotions, and senior-level job offers.
    • Support the administration of bonus and incentive schemes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Administer long-term incentive (LTI) programs, including tracking eligibility, coordinating grant cycles, and managing employee communications.
    • Maintain job evaluation records and support consistent application of grading structures.
    • Partner with the Group HR team to ensure alignment and consistency in compensation practices, policies, and program execution.
  • Benefits Management:
    • Partner with vendors and take ownership of employee benefits programs, including enrollments, renewals, and employee inquiries.
    • Liaise with external providers to ensure smooth delivery of benefits services.
    • Develop and implement benefits communications and employee education initiatives.
    • Oversee vendors and staff that provide 401(k) administration support, including managing enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries.
    • Continuously evaluate and improve benefits offerings to meet employee needs and market trends.
  • HRIS & Data Management:
    • Maintain and update employee data in the HRIS system.
    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all HR platforms.
    • Generate reports and dashboards to support HR and business needs.
    • Coordinate with IT or vendors to resolve system issues and implement improvements.
  • People Analytics:
    • Prepare and analyze HR data to support workforce planning and decision-making.
    • Produce regular and ad hoc reports on compensation, headcount, turnover, and other key metrics.
    • Support compliance reporting, including gender pay gap and audit requirements.
    • Lead strategic workforce and manpower planning initiatives.
  • Operational Support:
    • Review and approve payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
    • Provide guidance to HR Business Partners and managers on compensation and benefits queries.
    • Support internal audits and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
    • Take ownership of the employee onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for new hires.

Our Requirements:

  • 5+ Years of progressive experience in HR Operations in a global organization with multi country exposure.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business or similar field.
  • Master's degree in a related field strongly preferred.
  • Must have a good understanding of service delivery.
  • Experience with change management, project management and process improvement strongly preferred.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • Experience in HR operations, compensation, or benefits administration.
  • High proficiency in Excel and HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP, SuccessFactors).
  • Familiarity with job evaluation and grading systems.
  • Experience with Cornerstone and ADP is a plus.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or matrixed environment is a plus.
