Your Job

Phillips Medisize, a Molex Company is an end-to-end provider of innovation, development, and manufacturing solutions to the pharmaceutical, diagnostics and medical device industries. Our Phillips, WI facility is seeking a Mold Technician to support manufacturing operations. Mold Technicians create value in the injection molding process by conducting the start-up, shut down, change over and troubleshooting of the injection molding machines.

Shift - N1: 12 hour nights (2-2-3 schedule) 5pm-5am + 14% shift premium.

*Compensation will be based off of experience.

What You Will Do

  • Set up, start up, and change over injection molding production jobs calling up process control settings
  • Includes setting up robotics, part pickers and vision systems
  • Use proper process procedure validated data for troubleshooting product defect problems
  • Evaluate molding processes to update techniques and improve quality, safety and productivity efficiencies. Ensure the injection molding processes fall within validated windows or within the established guidelines.
  • Utilize ERP system (SAP) to monitor rejects, enter rejects, enter down time codes and to generate tooling work orders
  • Communicate important information to Mold Techs on next shift
  • Handle reporting, enter downtime codes, and scrap codes as needed

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in mechanical maintenance with a focus on automation, machinery, or robotics
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Experience operating an Injection Molding, Extrusion, Liquid Silicon Rubber, or Blow Molding machine and resolving part defect problems
  • Knowledge of plastic resins and resin drying systems
  • Experience operating a crane/hoist and forklift
  • Experience performing LOTOTO (Lock Out, Tag Out, Try Out)
