The Department of Systems Biology at Columbia University in New York City invites outstanding candidates to apply for tenure-track faculty positions at the level of Assistant Professor. We are seeking individuals with exceptional accomplishments and abilities in the areas of transcriptional and epigenetic regulation, based on the systems and quantitative biology analysis of gene regulatory region on the chromatin. Candidates are expected to develop an innovative basic or translational research program that combines both experimental and computational approaches to study and manipulate fundamental biological processes underlying cell context specific gene expression control by transcription factors, co-factors, and chromatin remodeling enzymes, especially in the context of normal cell physiology and its dysregulation in disease. Candidates working in the areas of immunology, gene regulation, development, cancer biology, and AI/ML are especially encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will join a friendly, highly collaborative faculty and will have access to a wealth of superb resources.
