Wage Range: $20.00 - 22.00 DOE
Must be available on weekends from November - April.
JOB SUMMARY
As a Parking Attendant at Crystal Mountain Ski Resort in Washington, you will be responsible for managing vehicle flow and traffic control within designated parking lots, assisting guests with parking, and ensuring smooth entry and exit operations. You will also maintain vehicle counts, monitor reservation compliance using handheld systems, and report any parking violations. Excellent communication, guest service, and coordination with supervisors are essential to ensure a safe and organized parking experience for all visitors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Manage vehicles and traffic control at each entrance/exist within the Crystal Mountain Parking lots.
- Assist all customers with moving in and out of vehicles spots
- Provided Guidance on which way vehicles should be parking within your assigned lot (north-south/ east-west).
- Maintain daily count of all vehicles and report when required
- Maintain frequent communication with your parking supervisor,
- Identify and report all customers violations to your duty supervisor as needed.
- Perform regular patrols within your assigned parking lot, and aid visitors to locate their vehicle E.I lockouts, battery jumping's, pulling out of parked spot.
- Manage and resolve all customer queries
- Setting up and tear down of assigned lot.
- Confirm, modify, and cancel parking reservations using digital handheld systems.
- Greet guests, answer questions, and assist with directions or parking-related concerns.
- Ensure reserved spots are available and not misused; report unauthorized vehicles.
- Direct drivers to their designated spots and help avoid congestion.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Outdoor parking experience in extreme weather conditions
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Self-motivated, able to maximize use of time and resources provided to them.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, other employees, Supervisors.
- Working outside in adverse weather conditions for long periods of time
- This position is required to workday, evenings, weekends and holidays while in operation.
- Strong ability to drive in all types of weather conditions
- Adapt to daily lot conditions changes due to snowpack or large amount of customer for a specific day
- Ability to remove or shovel snow to increase additional lot space for parking.
- Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 20 pounds of equipment on an occasional basis.
- Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, bending, reaching, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling.
- Ability to speak and or engage with guests, employees and supervisors daily, along with having working knowledge of Crystal Mountain.
