Position Overview

QinetiQ US is seeking a Senior Executive Officer/Chief of Staff in support of a Directors Action Group. The highly motivated candidate will support all activities involved with the preparation and production of material supporting internal and external communications, develop short and long-term strategic messaging, policy and structure for a rapid research and development (R&D) program office. The ideal candidate should be capable of working well amongst a diverse team to develop processes and procedures to ensure consistent and timely deliverable of products across a wide range of external government and industry audiences in support of a newly appointment Principal Staff Assistant office located in Chantilly, VA.



Responsibilities

    Research, write, edit, and produce definitive documentation, including graphics, for office projects as required by Government management and the Government Program and Project Manager(s).
  • Develop content for senior leadership engagements, including but not limited to white papers, PowerPoint, excel documents, and tracking tools
  • Be responsible for strategic short and long term policies and procedures for a small size R&D organization
  • Communicate and Coordination with Office Directors, protocol officials and foreign disclosure officials to ensure successful dissemination of information across all levels of government
  • Act as a liaison and Action Officer for the office Director, Deputy Director and Director of Strategic Engagements
  • Maintain office archives of all presentations, animations/movies, speeches, white papers, videotapes or other media. In addition, this may include creating and maintaining bibliographic and abstract databases, and technical documentation libraries.
  • Prepare drafts for technical review briefings, industry day/workshop presentations, concepts of employment and operation, and other briefings/presentations for internal and external use.
  • Coordinate with office leadership regarding briefings to outside agencies.
  • Provide support to the Director of Strategic Engagement, assist in development of key operational strategies, develop and maintain 30-60-90 engagement calendar
  • Ideal candidates will be team oriented and focused on executing the mission and working to identify areas of efficiencies through the development of new constructs in support of the organization


Required Qualifications

  • Top Secret / SCI security clearance; #qinetiqclearedjob
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 15 years of recent and relevant communication multimedia and technical support experience
  • Highly organized and able to develop documents in all media. Proficient in software packages to include MS Powerpoint, Project, Excel and/or other equivalent tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and be independently motivated.

  • Masters Degree
  • Previous Military Executive Officer/Chief of Staff experience
  • Previous Progam Office Experience
