Summary:

In this role, you will assist in the plan, design, evaluation and administration of employee compensation programs, such as salaries, short- and long-term incentives, and job evaluations. You will participate in compensation survey submissions, data requests, compliance efforts, and budgeting and invoicing activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing and implementing compensation programs to meet objectives with regards to internal equity and external market competitiveness.
  • Conduct market pricing activities which include the matching of internal positions to external data using standardized surveys for purposes of making recommendations regarding base salary levels and appropriate grade assignment.
  • Lead the process of submitting data to market compensation surveys.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and managers throughout the organization on compensation matters. Gathers information and prepares analysis to assist in making recommendations for changes.
  • Participate in the annual merit and annual incentive processes including aiding with communications, calculating awards and pro-rations and submitting data to payroll for payment processing.
  • Ensure the administration of various compensation programs are in compliance with established guidelines, processes and procedures. This includes programs such as incentive compensation, sales compensation, annual merit review cycle, promotions and transfers.
  • Maintain job profiles and ensure accuracy in HR System (Workday). Set ups, maintain and audit compensation in Workday software.
  • Serve as the point of contact with vendors for compensation survey access, management, budgeting, and invoicing.
  • Respond to compensation data requests and perform ad hoc analysis

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred in business administration, HR administration, or other related fields.
  • 2 or more years in compensation administration required.
  • Experience working in a corporate HR environment is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of compensation policies, practices, and regulations
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong expertise in Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Workday preferred.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $59,600.00 to $101,200.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
