Pay:

H&M offers competitive pay commensurate with experience in a similar position. The range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 annually, but actual compensation will vary depending upon new hire experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.

Role Overview:

The Account Manager oversees the current landscape maintenance, sweeping, and snow removal accounts. The Account Manager will provide superior customer relations to our external clients to succeed in this role. The Account Manager will increase enhancement sales and promote Full Care's additional service lines to our clients. The Account Manager will maintain a partnership with Superintendents to see that H&M quality goals are met, the Branch Manager to see that the H&M goals of Safety and EBITDA are met, and the Territory Sales Manager to see that the goal of Gross Revenue is met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure site and team safety by maintaining a clean, operational vehicle, identifying hazards, and promoting safety awareness in alignment with NALP Safety Award goals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned client accounts across maintenance, sweeping, ice control, and enhancement services.
  • Foster strong client relationships by instilling confidence, delivering consistent communication, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Oversee service delivery by ensuring all contractual obligations and H&M quality standards are met; proactively address minor quality concerns.
  • Drive account renewals by sustaining service excellence, managing expectations, and identifying opportunities to extend client partnerships.
  • Utilize Aspire and Company Cam to maintain CRM accuracy, create proposals, document site visits, and support operational tracking.
  • Collaborate with field leadership including Superintendents and subcontractors to support enhancement projects and address service issues.
  • Generate enhancement sales by identifying site opportunities aligned with client goals and preparing accurate proposals and pricing.
  • Represent H&M professionally by engaging in industry groups and maintaining awareness of market trends impacting customer needs.
  • Support business development through relationship-building, visibility in the field, and strategic contributions to overall sales initiatives.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Promote a culture of safety by ensuring full team compliance with the Visterra Safety Program and contributing to the achievement of an NALP Safety Award.
  • Drive profitability by maintaining at least 95% client retention (measured in dollars) and selling all enhancements at or above a 60% gross margin.
  • Support top-line growth by achieving a 2025 goal of $500K in enhancement sales across assigned accounts.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in the Landscape industry or a horticulture-related; degree is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in utilizing MS Office; experience utilizing Aspire is especially preferred!
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record over the past three years, in compliance with company policy; ability to travel up to 90% of the time.
  • Working knowledge of maintenance, sweeping, and snow removal equipment and vehicles.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Maintains the physical capability necessary to perform job responsibilities in the field.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines accurately and consistently.
  • Demonstrates excellent attendance, punctuality, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
  • Highly responsive to client needs and able to build strong, lasting customer relationships.

Commission Program & Perks:

  • Account Managers earn additional pay on a tiered commission structure
    1. Up to $300,000 in sales - no additional commission
    2. $300,001 - $600,000 - 2% on gross revenue
    3. $600,001 - $900,000 - 3% on gross revenue
    4. $900,000+ - 4% on gross revenue - no cap
    5. $1,000,000 in sales will receive an additional $2,500 bonus
