Our Powertrain Operations facility, located on Pilgrim Road in Menomonee Falls, WI, is where the "jewel" of the motorcycle comes to life. Pilgrim Road employees produce engines and transmissions for the final assembly plant in York, Pennsylvania, as well as transmissions, and replacement parts for sale through Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Parts and Accessories business. Job Summary

Provides technical leadership, training, enhancement and support for maintenance operations and reliability initiatives across manufacturing. Develops systems to ensure reliable operation of equipment, reduced production interruptions and consistently high levels of part repeatability and quality.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordination of projects and provide technical support on new and existing manufacturing equipment for production operations.
  • Direct involvement with new equipment selection, approval drawings, component specification, recommend spare parts attainment, maintenance training requirements, preventive maintenance recommendations, manual and documentation procurement.
  • Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs across production areas.
  • Analyze equipment history and production data to identify recurring issues and determine root causes of critical failures.
  • Lead reliability initiatives across departments by evaluating performance metrics and recommending targeted solutions.
  • Responsible for expense budget management and attainment of additional Maintenance Engineering resources required to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Participate as a member of maintenance work group, provide support to work groups, work advisors, manufacturing engineers and skilled trades.

Education Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Education Specifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or related technical field preferred

Experience Requirements

Required




  • Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience.



Preferred




  • 5-10 years of experience in all aspects of manufacturing maintenance and operation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in conflict resolution, coaching and mentoring are essential.
  • Experience in working in a team environment and fostering team concepts to build group commitments to goals and objectives.
  • Practical application of ergonomics and a good understanding of OSHA requirements regarding machine tools.
  • Computer experience including AutoCAD, Graphical design systems, statistical analysis, computerized maintenance management systems, numerical control, word processing and spreadsheet programs.
