  • Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is a 49-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity, cardiology, emergency, orthopedics, alcohol withdrawal stabilization, gastroenterology and surgery.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment and grounds
  • Utilize several trades skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling
  • Oversee and inspect the work of outside contractors
  • Maintain lighting systems throughout the facility, clean fixture and replace lightbulbs and lamps
  • Maintain grounds of facility or property performing such tasks as raking, sweeping, leaf blowing or snow removal
  • Assist with installation and modification of building equipment systems.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems to include: plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC
  • Perform assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Complete maintenance and repair records as required
  • Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and company directives related to building operations and work safety

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of experience, specifically in a hospital setting, working within the maintenance department
