Salary range: $85,000 - $105,000

Apple Bank is seeking a highly motivated, proactive, analytical, and detail oriented individual to join our Legal Contract Review function as a Contract Review Analyst. This role does not require the individual to be a licensed attorney.

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, summarizing, drafting, and negotiating contracts/agreements on behalf of Apple Bank with various third-party vendors to ensure alignment with applicable laws/regulations and internal policies and/or practices. As a Contract Review Analyst, you will need to regularly collaborate with members of the Information Security and Privacy teams, as well as with other internal stakeholders at various levels of seniority.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with the requisite contract review experience who thrives in a structured, deadline driven environment and is looking to contribute to risk mitigation and operational efficiency.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review, draft, and summarize the terms within master service agreements (MSA), statements of work (SOW) and other third-party contracts/agreements.
  • Independently negotiate with external parties the terms of MSAs, SOWs, and contracts/agreements to align with applicable laws/regulations, and internal policies/practices.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on potential legal risks associated with vendor proposed MSAs, SOWs, and other contracts/agreements and propose amendments to mitigate those risks.
  • Work with the Information Security and Privacy teams to ensure the Bank's minimum standards are included in all MSA, SOWs, and contracts/engagements prior to execution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree (this role does not require a Juris Doctorate degree).
  • Must have at least 3 to 5 years of prior experience reviewing and negotiating contracts, extra preference will be given to individuals that have negotiated financial institution and/or information security/information technology contracts.
  • Excellent analytical and communication (verbal + written) skills.
  • Works independently.
  • Ability and willingness to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders at various seniority levels when needed.
  • Proven success in highly regulated, evolving environments.
