Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Solution Lead to join our Policy Administration Modernization Program. This role will be instrumental in leading the technical direction, solution architecture, and engineering execution as we replace our legacy policy administration platform with a more scalable, flexible, and cloud-based policy admin system.


What You'll Do:


* Serve as the technical leader for the modernization program, overseeing solution design, system integration, and technical delivery.
* Own key technical decisions and guide the team through complex technical challenges.
* Coach and mentor tech resources within the program to help them grow their technical and business acumen
* Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to design scalable, supportable systems.
* Collaborate with enterprise technology partners to ensure security, compliance, and data governance standards are met.
* Collaborate with cross-technology partners to align modernization roadmaps, with a focus on decommissioning mainframe systems and transitioning to modern, cloud-based architectures.
* Support system testing, performance optimization, and production readiness.


What You'll Bring:


* 8+ years of experience in solution architecture or enterprise systems design
* Proven track record of leading modernization or digital transformation initiatives
* Deep understanding of cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
* Deep understanding of system integration, APIs, data migration strategies, and event-driven architectures.
* Familiarity with policy admin platforms (e.g., Verisk Life FAST or ALIP) is highly desirable.
* Experience in designing scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise solutions.
* Experience with Agile development methodologies.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
* Prior experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
* Experience working with distributed teams and offshore/onshore models.
* Experience working with legacy mainframe technologies.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:$82,500-$140,000

Overtime eligible:Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible:Yes

Sales bonus eligible:No

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
