The I&T Manager will be responsible for managing the ASRR Systems Integration Lab (SIL), overseeing configuration management, and ensuring successful integration and testing of ISR systems including sensors and communications technologies for military ground platforms. The ideal candidate will work closely with the U.S. Army, foreign military clients, and internal engineering teams to ensure successful integration of ISR systems into military operations, meeting mission-critical requirements and operational demands.
Responsibilities
SIL Operations and Testing Management:
Configuration Management and Baseline Control:
- Establish and manage configuration procedures for both SIL development and ongoing operations including CM process documentation, version control implementation, and baseline establishment procedures
- Manage formal design baseline definition, design freeze coordination, and configuration item identification while maintaining baseline integrity
- Ensure SIL implementation aligns with established design baseline through as-built documentation review, physical configuration audits, component verification, and discrepancy resolution
Quality Assurance and Installation Oversight:
- Provide QA oversight during SIL setup including installation inspection, workmanship verification, safety compliance checks, and non-conformance tracking
- Maintain quality and reliability of test data during and after test execution through data accuracy validation, anomaly investigation, and coordination with test teams to ensure trustworthy outputs
- Implement cybersecurity requirements and ensure secure operations within the SIL environment
Documentation and Partner Coordination:
- Generate formal documentation and manage acceptance of SIL verification results including test report compilation, acceptance criteria verification, and stakeholder approval coordination
- Track status of partner development efforts to understand impact on future dependent activities and mitigate potential problems
- Develop and track status of Interface Design Documents
- Coordinate integration activities between multiple contractors and ensure interface compatibility
System Development and Integration:
- Contribute to the creation of system specifications, architecture, and requirements documentation for ISR systems, ensuring solutions meet operational needs
- Support system-level testing and verification efforts for ISR technologies, ensuring systems operate effectively in operational environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to ISR systems integration and performance
- Ensure all ISR system components comply with military standards (MIL-STD, MIL-PRF) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) regulations
Field Support and Customer Interface:
- Provide on-site technical support during deployment, fielding, and operational use of ISR systems
- Serve as technical point of contact for U.S. Army personnel and foreign military clients, providing updates on system performance and integration progress
- Assist in development and delivery of training materials to ensure military personnel are prepared to operate and maintain ISR systems
- Participate in risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for system integration and performance issues
