Compensation Range: $56,600 - $71,000
(Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.)

Job Purpose

ABSL Space Products (ABSL) is the world-leading manufacturer of Lithium-ion batteries for space applications. We are seeking talented individuals who have the self-motivation and desire to become world-leaders in their field to join our office in Longmont, Colorado.

This is an excellent opportunity for a production planner with at least 3 years of experience to join a growing international space component supplier.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain systems for real-time tracking of production progress.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules to align with program needs and optimize resource utilization for both equipment and personnel.
  • Initiate work orders to drive inventory demand and enable production to start as required by schedules.
  • Collaborate with program management, procurement, and production teams to assess demand and align production plans accordingly.
  • Monitor inventory levels, identifying potential shortages or excesses, and recommending adjustments.
  • Provide regular reports on production status, highlighting achievements and areas needing attention.
  • Investigate process and product improvement opportunities to improve workflows and minimize disruptions.
  • Support operations staff with MES updates and logistics.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience in one or multiple of the following areas: Production Planning & Control, Inventory Management, Manufacturing/Production Operations, Procurement or Logistics.
  • Ability to follow and execute standard operating procedures in an aerospace environment.
  • Executes work with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to self-manage tasks and responsibilities to achieve deadlines.
  • "Off" hours or weekend support may be required at times.

  • This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.
